Spare ribs

These spare ribs will have everyone at the table licking their fingers and asking for seconds:

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of spare ribs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C.

  2. Mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Mix well to make the dry rub.

  4. Place the spare ribs on a baking sheet and cover them with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.

  5. After 3 hours, remove the foil from the spare ribs and brush them with barbecue sauce.

  6. Increase the oven temperature to 180°C and bake the spare ribs for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce has caramelized and the ribs are tender and juicy.

  7. Let the spare ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
